Jennifer Cody
Jennifer Cody, born on November 10, 1969, in Greece, New York, is a talented American stage actress known for her dynamic performances. She developed a passion for dance at a young age and pursued her acting studies at Fredonia State University. Currently, she resides in New York City with her husband, fellow actor Hunter Foster, and their two Shih Tzus.
Cody's professional journey commenced shortly after her graduation, as she took on the role of Dainty June in the touring production of *Gypsy*. Her Broadway debut came as a replacement for Rumpleteazer in Andrew Lloyd Webber's iconic musical *Cats*, following her time with the touring cast. She has showcased her versatility in various productions, including stepping in as Cha-Cha in *Grease*, as a Silly Girl in *Beauty and the Beast*, and in ensemble roles in *Seussical* (2000) and *Urinetown the Musical* (2001). Her other notable theater credits include *Taboo* (2003) and *The Pajama Game* (2006), where she portrayed Poopsie.
Cody was also part of the original Broadway cast of *Shrek the Musical*, where she played the Shoemaker's Elf, among other roles, sharing the stage with her sister-in-law, Sutton Foster, from November 2008 until July 14, 2009. Her career continues to flourish as she captivates audiences with her performances.
