Bert Belasco III (circa 1982 - November 9, 2020) was a talented American actor celebrated for his compelling performances on television. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Charles Whitmore in the BET series *Let's Stay Together*, which aired from 2011 to 2014. Belasco also showcased his acting prowess in notable roles, including Sonny Evers on the Fox series *Pitch* in 2016, and Rene Marson in Showtime's *I'm Dying Up Here* from 2017 to 2018.

Born in New York City and later living in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Bert eventually moved to Naperville, Illinois, where he completed his high school education at Waubonsie Valley High School in Aurora. He furthered his passion for the performing arts by earning a theater degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2005. At the time of his untimely passing, he was based in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, preparing for a feature film project in Richmond, Virginia.

Tragically, on November 8, 2020, Bert was found deceased in his hotel room in Richmond. He was pronounced dead shortly after 2:52 am on November 9. In January 2021, it was confirmed that his death was due to natural causes.
