Colleen Doran, born on July 24, 1964, is a distinguished American cartoonist, writer, and illustrator renowned for her extensive contributions to comics, graphic novels, and various publications. Among her notable works is the autobiographical graphic novel *Amazing Fantastic Incredible Stan Lee*, which she illustrated for the iconic Marvel editor and writer, Stan Lee. This work achieved the status of a New York Times bestseller. Doran also brought to life Neil Gaiman’s short story "Troll Bridge," which similarly garnered bestseller recognition.
Her graphic novels have received numerous accolades, including the Eisner, Harvey, Bram Stoker, Locus, and International Horror Guild Awards, highlighting her significant impact on the graphic literature landscape. In 2019, her adaptation of Gaiman's *Snow, Glass, Apples* won the Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in a Graphic Novel and the Eisner Award for Best Adaptation from Another Medium.
