Maiken Pius

Maiken Pius, previously known as Maiken Schmidt until 2019, was born on April 17, 1985, and is a prominent figure in the Estonian acting scene. She completed her secondary education at Kilingi-Nõmme High School in 2003. Pursuing her passion for the arts, Maiken earned a degree in choreography from Tallinn University in 2006, followed by her graduation from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre’s School of Performing Arts in 2012.

Since 2012, she has been an integral part of the Tallinn City Theater, where she has showcased her versatile acting skills across various productions. Maiken has received acclaim for her performances, further establishing her reputation in the theatrical community.

Aside from her professional accomplishments, Maiken's personal life is equally enriching. She is married to fellow actor Priit Pius, and the couple welcomed their son on March 22, 2018. They tied the knot in July 2019, expanding their family with the arrival of their daughter on March 18, 2020. Through her dedication to both her craft and her family, Maiken Pius continues to inspire many in the arts and beyond.
