Plot

Life in a remote Russian village unfolds where the only lifeline to the mainland is a precarious boat ride across a lake. Here, a solitary postman serves as the sole connection to the outside world, amidst a community that feels trapped in time, living with no modern conveniences despite nearby technological advancements. When his girlfriend leaves for a better life in the city, the postman's world is further upended after his outboard engine is stolen, halting his deliveries.
