Plot

Eric Stanton, an aimless drifter, arrives in a sleepy California town and finds himself drawn to a charming diner. Captivated by the waitress Stella, he also becomes entangled with the affluent and reserved June Mills. As Stella's disinterest in him without financial backing becomes clear, Eric devises a plan to win her affection, using June as a pawn. However, passion soon spirals into danger, leading to a chilling twist as murder infiltrates this complicated love triangle, turning his pursuit of romance into a perilous game.
