Plot
Fisher Willow, an unconventional debutante in 1920s Memphis, rebels against societal norms with her sharp tongue and disdain for conventionality. Upon returning from her studies abroad, she becomes infatuated with Jimmy, a struggling young man burdened by his troubled family background—an alcoholic father and a mentally ill mother.
