Plot

Karl and his mother relocate from the tranquil west coast of Denmark to the vibrant, multicultural district of Nørrebro in Copenhagen. Navigating this new environment proves challenging for Karl until he meets Sawsan, a confident Danish-Turkish girl in his class who takes him under her wing. With her street smarts, she helps him adapt to the city’s lively culture. Sawsan's aspirations soar when her song is selected for the Danish version of the Eurovision Song Contest for kids, but her father's disapproval poses a hurdle. Undeterred, Karl hatches a plan to support her dream.
