Plot

Ernst, feeling suffocated by the demands of his wife and mother-in-law, orchestrates an elaborate ruse of his own demise. To escape their clutches, he takes on a new identity, infiltrating his own home under the guise of a servant. As he navigates this double life, he discovers unexpected truths and challenges that force him to confront not only his circumstances but also his relationships.
