Plot
Jong-bun, now in her eighties, stands as one of the last survivors of the 'Comfort Women' from World War II, forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese Army. In 1944, during the waning days of the Japanese occupation in Korea, a spirited Jong-bun is abducted and finds herself on a train bound for Manchuria, where she unexpectedly reunites with Young-ae, the affluent daughter of a clerk, also destined for the same fate. As they endure harrowing trials together, their paths diverge after escaping the camp. Years later, Jong-bun encounters a troubled teenager, evoking memories of her own traumatic history.
