Plot

A research team ventures to a tropical island in the South Pacific, where the local inhabitants revere an enigmatic creature known as Gappa. When an earthquake reveals a hidden cave, they uncover a baby reptile within. Ignoring the natives' pleas to leave the hatchling undisturbed, the team transports it to a zoo in Japan. In response, the furious parents, Gappa, unleash their wrath upon Tokyo in a desperate search for their stolen offspring.
