Gunpowder and Timipre, two residents of Oloibiri—the birthplace of Nigeria's oil boom—find themselves at odds amid the community's dire circumstances. While Gunpowder resorts to violent protests against the dire poverty plaguing their town, he blames Timipre’s generation for their inaction as their land has been ravaged for its resources. The film explores themes of exploitation, social justice, and the consequences of neglect in a community rich in oil but lacking in basic needs. As tensions rise, the two men must confront their past and envision a future for Oloibiri.
