A quest to uncover King Richard III's remains unfolds in this captivating documentary. Following his death at the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485, the king was thought to be buried at Greyfriars Church in Leicester, which has since vanished. Phillipa Langley from the Richard III Society persuaded University of Leicester archaeologists to excavate a nearby car park, where they made a remarkable discovery. The initial skeleton unearthed was confirmed to be Richard III through DNA analysis, linking it to Canadian Michael Ibsen, a descendant of the king’s sister, illuminating a crucial piece of history.
