Plot
Thirteen-year-old Missy Taylor resides with her mother, Annette, who struggles with addiction. When Annette's boyfriend, Trent, gets out of prison, he moves into their home and quickly becomes a threat to Missy. As he turns his attention toward her in a menacing way, she is compelled to take a brave stand for herself, triggering a horrifying series of events that unfold in the wake of her desperate act of self-defense.
