Plot

Palmer Woodrow, a wealthy slacker, enlists streetwise Eddie Keaton to attend school in his place while he enjoys a European getaway. As Eddie navigates the elite halls of Hoover Academy, he unexpectedly develops feelings for the charming Tracey, inciting the wrath of local bully Biff. Complications mount when Eddie’s old bookie, Dice, arrives to collect gambling debts, and Palmer returns prematurely from his trip. Amid growing chaos, Eddie finds himself entangled in a web of deception, struggling to determine where his true loyalties lie.
