Plot
Don Vito Leoni, the aging mobster, grapples with deep-seated depression as he confronts a rapidly changing world. Longing for retirement, he fears leaving his incompetent sons in charge would lead to disaster. Determined to go legitimate, Vito's radical shift raises eyebrows among his family, who conspire to maintain their lavish lifestyles. They kidnap a local psychiatrist, pressuring him to "cure" their father’s malaise. This dark comedy, which debuted on Showtime, intriguingly predates a similar premise in the film "Analyze This" by more than a year, blending mob life with a humorous take on therapy.
