The Golden Voices (2018)

Plot

At Terrell Christian College, the annual "Golden Voices Competition" is on the horizon, but there’s a catch: the school lacks a choir. Music department head Georgia Mae Jackson (Irma P. Hall) faces dismissal from her position unless she assembles a choir within a month, leading her to enlist her granddaughter Sidney Nicole Taylor (Nikki Dixon) as a stand-in due to an injury. Sidney shakes things up by recruiting troubled R&B singer Jax Rebel (Mario Mims) to assist. As Dean Vickie Wilson (Tonea Stewart) threatens Georgia's job over Jax's controversial past, the trio must work together to secure victory and save her career.
