Defiant (2019)

Plot

Amidst a fragile peace following "The Taking," the New World appears secure, with most Defiants either gone or executed under the Sovereign Leader's orders. However, when a young soldier grappling with amnesia begins to regain his memories, he uncovers unsettling truths about his past and the nature of his society. Wrongly accused of murdering the Sovereign Leader, he faces a critical decision: to remain A51-317, the obedient soldier, or embrace his identity as Paul Wooden, a Defiant. As his loyalty is tested, he must confront his beliefs and decide if he can continue to support the New World.
