Plot
A sheriff’s political aspirations take a nosedive when his daughter falls for the son of a captivating yet troubled woman, who has been the object of his tumultuous, two-decade affair. As the intertwined lives of the sheriff, his daughter, and the enigmatic woman become increasingly complicated, personal and political stakes rise. The sheriff must confront his past choices and the fallout from his secret relationship, all while attempting to salvage both his family ties and his ambitions for a state senate seat. Tensions mount as the ice beneath him grows thinner.
