Plot

Martha Price faces a daunting challenge after the death of her husband during their journey to America. Alongside her daughter Hilary, she is determined to fulfill his ambition of introducing Hereford cattle to the American West. They recruit the rugged Sam "Bulldog" Burnett to help transport their lone bull, Vindicator, to a Texas breeder. However, the journey is perilous, and even Burnett struggles with the likelihood of this rare breed's survival amidst the harsh realities of the trail.
