Beyond the Walls (2012)

Plot

Paulo, a passionate young pianist, falls head over heels for Ilir, a double-bass player from Albania. Their romance ignites quickly, but when Anka confronts Paulo, he finds himself homeless. Despite Ilir's reservations, Paulo moves in with him, vowing eternal love. However, their bliss is short-lived as Ilir suddenly disappears from the city. Paulo soon learns that Ilir has been imprisoned, leading to a poignant and heart-wrenching struggle as the two lovers navigate the challenges of their fractured relationship, testing the limits of love and resilience in the face of adversity.
