Plot

Thirty years after the devastating conflict with the Zentradi, the U.N. government is advancing its military technology on the colony planet Eden. Test pilots and childhood friends Isamu Alva Dyson, a reckless spirit, and Guld Goa Bowman, a Zentradi hybrid, are chosen to fly rival prototypes for Project Super Nova: the YF-19 and YF-21. As they vie for the title of the next top fighter pilot, their deep-seated rivalries threaten not only their friendship but also the success of the new aircraft, leading to chaos in the program and stirring up old wounds.
