Plot
Set in a Parisian suburb in 1972, sixteen-year-olds Gilles and Christine navigate the challenges of adolescence amid strained family dynamics and a mundane existence. Their relationship takes a turn when they’re apprehended for shoplifting, prompting Christine's father to send her to a facility for troubled youth, creating a rift between the young lovers. Undeterred, Christine manages to break free, and the two hatch a plan to escape their stifling lives. Their quest for freedom leads them to consider a life on the run, testing the strength of their bond against societal expectations.
