Kidnapped: The Hannah Anderson Story (2015)

Plot

On August 3, 2013, 16-year-old Hannah Anderson was kidnapped right after cheerleading practice in a San Diego suburb. Later that day, the bodies of her mother and brother were discovered in the burned home of family friend James DiMaggio, prompting an AMBER Alert and a frantic search for Hannah across multiple states. For a week, she was held captive by the increasingly erratic DiMaggio as they traveled through the state. They were eventually located in Idaho, where a shootout with FBI agents led to DiMaggio's death, leaving Hannah as the only survivor. In the aftermath, questions arose about the true nature of her relationship with her captor and the events that transpired.
