Plot
In the 15th century, King Sejong seeks to create a revolutionary script that would enable all his subjects to read and write, a dream that could empower the masses. However, his courtiers, eager to maintain their control over knowledge and authority, fiercely oppose his vision. Amidst this conflict, Sejong learns of Sinmi, a talented phonogram specialist. Determined to realize his goal, the king discreetly invites Sinmi to the palace, hoping their collaboration will overcome the resistance and bring literacy to the kingdom.
