Plot

Eddie, a down-and-out street hustler, sees his con game disrupted by Hallie Galloway, a deputy editor at a Manhattan lifestyle magazine. After losing a bet with her boss, Hallie is tasked with turning Eddie into a sophisticated bachelor for a charity auction. Desperate to repay his kind benefactor, restaurateur Angelo, Eddie agrees to the transformation. As he embraces his new persona, he discovers his charm and a hidden gentlemanly side, sparking unexpected romance with Hallie. However, their complicated pasts threaten to derail their budding relationship.
