Plot

Detective Jung-soo is consumed by rage after encountering victims of senseless murders. His investigation leads him to Ji-hyun, the sole survivor, and they marry, but her haunting past lingers. Tragedy strikes when Jung-soo's partner, So-young, discovers him devastated at a crime scene, cradling the bodies of his wife and daughter, who were brutally murdered after disappearing. Frustrated by the justice system's failure to hold the killers accountable, Jung-soo vows to enact his own revenge on the unpunished criminals and the cruel world that allowed this horror to unfold.
