Plot
In 1930s Shanghai, Shuisheng leaves his rural home to live with his uncle Liushu, who quickly assigns him to serve Bijou, the glamorous mistress of Laoda, the powerful leader of the Tang Triad. As tensions rise with both known rivals and hidden adversaries, Shuisheng finds himself immersed in a dangerous underworld where loyalty and survival hang by a thread. The precarious dynamics of power and betrayal in Laoda’s realm challenge Shuisheng’s innocence, thrusting him into a life fraught with peril and moral complexities.
