Plot
In "Heaven" (2002), Cate Blanchett plays Philippa, a British educator in Turin, Italy, who has lost numerous loved ones, including her husband, to drug overdoses. Frustrated by the police's inaction despite her attempts to provide them with information on the city's notorious drug dealer, Philippa takes matters into her own hands. She constructs a homemade bomb as a means of seeking justice, which propels her into a harrowing transformation from a grieving widow to a desperate fugitive evading the law.
