Plot

Chris, an ambitious filmmaker from Kerala, becomes captivated by Louis Malle’s 1969 documentary, Calcutta, and dreams of crafting his own version. He relocates to Kolkata with his wife, Anita, a fellow actress, to begin filming. However, the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic brings his project to a halt as his producer freezes funding. Trapped in their rented apartment during the lockdown, Chris channels his frustrations into an intimate documentary about their marriage—keeping his creative endeavor a secret from Anita.
