Imperial Blue (2019)

Plot

Hugo Winter, a charming yet unscrupulous American drug smuggler, ventures to Uganda to secure a shipment of Bulu, a mystical herb that offers visions of the future. Arriving in Kampala, he encounters two sisters with conflicting goals: devout Kisakye and defiant Angela, both hailing from the village of Makaana, where the Bulu thrives. As they guide Hugo deeper into the jungle, he becomes ensnared in their intricate schemes. The line blurs between his drug-fueled insights and the reality of his mission, leaving him uncertain about his fate.
