Pogey Beach (2019)

Plot

Nineteen-year-old Bethany Lockwood arrives in Prince Edward Island and quickly becomes the center of a rivalry between Gary Gallant, the self-proclaimed 'King of Pogey Beach,' and Lyle Macdonald, a laid-back pogey bum with a grudge against Gary. After Bethany discovers the thrill of under-the-table work, her ambitious scheme takes a disastrous turn, leading to everyone ending up in pogey jail. With tensions high, Gary and Lyle must set aside their rivalry to rescue Pogey Beach from impending doom. Will they unite and overcome their differences for a common cause?
