Plot
An astronomy professor becomes entangled in a dangerous scheme while assisting with a missile development project. His former friend, a Russian chess champion, collaborates with the unscrupulous businessman Marek to orchestrate a sinister plot. Their goal is to abduct the professor and stage a defection to the Soviet Union, creating a ruse that could have dire consequences. As the professor navigates this treacherous situation, he must rely on his wits to outsmart those plotting against him and uncover the truth behind their deceitful intentions.
