Plot

A year into an outbreak of flesh-eating, mind-controlling worms, the once-sleepy town of Ashland, Ohio, has succumbed to the creatures’ dominance. Led by the fanatical Mayor Joshua, devoted Ranchers promote their twisted beliefs, using both charm and intimidation. Meanwhile, three uninfected women fight to stay alive by scavenging, maintaining rigorous cleanliness, and staying hidden. However, the strain of survival takes its toll, leading to a cascade of betrayal, sacrilege, and gruesome transformations.
