Plot

In April 1957, 19-year-old Albertine, a spirited and rebellious soul, escapes from prison but sustains a broken ankle in her leap—a fracture to her astragal. She finds refuge with Julien, a fugitive from justice, and their intense romance ignites. As he navigates the underworld of Paris, Albertine grapples with her quest for independence and the emotional scars left by his frequent absences.
