Plot

Ramiro Forteza, a goalkeeper in the Premier League, finds his career derailed by the Civil War. To survive, he travels to villages, daring locals to score penalty shots against him. His journey brings him to a small town in Asturias, where he encounters Manuela, a young widow struggling to support her son through sewing for Ursula, the wife of the local Civil Guard sergeant, Andrade. As their lives intertwine, Ramiro's presence sparks hope and change amidst the war’s turmoil.
