Nightmare in Badham County (1976)

Plot

Two UCLA students encounter car trouble in a secluded Southern town, leading them to cross paths with the local sheriff. When they reject his unwelcome advances, he retaliates by fabricating charges to send them to a women's prison, where his cousin serves as the judge. Inside the prison, the coeds face horrific treatment from both the guards and the corrupt administration, forcing them to fight for their dignity and freedom against a backdrop of systemic abuse and oppression. Their struggle becomes a desperate bid for survival amidst nightmarish conditions.
