In 1965, Robert Kennedy became the first to reach the summit of Mount Kennedy in the Yukon, a tribute to his late brother. Leading the historic expedition was Jim Whitaker, an Everest pioneer and REI’s first full-time employee. Five decades later, Jim's sons, Bob and Leif, along with Christopher Kennedy, embark on a climb to honor their fathers’ legacy and friendship. Directed by Seattle filmmaker Eric Becker, this heartfelt documentary weaves together archival footage, including intimate family films, and personal interviews. Music by Eddie Vedder enhances the visual journey across the majestic mountain landscapes, celebrating a profound connection.
