Plot

A celebrated Chinese sommelier living in France receives an unexpected call from his childhood friend in China. He is asked to assist in auctioning a rare 1855 vintage wine for the Chinese government. Eager to help, he steps into a complex web of rivalry between competing vineyards. As he digs deeper into the auction, he uncovers a historical enigma that threatens to disrupt the entire wine industry.
