Corroboree (2007)

Plot

A striking young man finds himself at a haunting meditation retreat, summoned by a terminally ill theatre director. Armed with a tape of instructions, he spends a weekend reenacting pivotal scenes from the director's past. Throughout the retreat, he interacts with five actresses, each embodying significant women from the director's life. As they help him prepare for a lead role in a film that has yet to be created, the ailing director observes his evolution. This surreal, Alice in Wonderland-like narrative unfolds as the young man embarks on a transformative journey of identity and self-discovery.
