Plot
Mark Chapman (Jonas Ball) struggles with feelings of alienation as he navigates life in Hawaii, disconnected from his job, family, and friends. In search of purpose, he discovers solace in a public library, where he becomes captivated by J.D. Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye." Identifying with the protagonist, Holden Caulfield, Chapman immerses himself in the novel's themes of isolation. His obsession takes a darker turn when he stumbles upon a book about John Lennon, leading to a growing animosity toward the iconic musician that ultimately drives him to a tragic decision.
