The Power of the Resurrection (1958)

Plot

A young man grapples with the terror of impending torture and death for his Christian faith. In a moment of vulnerability, he shares his fears with Peter, who is also facing a dire fate. Peter recalls his own moment of fear during Jesus' arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane, when he denied knowing Christ three times. Yet, Jesus assured him he would become the foundation of the Church. As they converse, Peter recounts the profound events of the Passion Week, including Christ's crucifixion, resurrection, and eventual ascension, instilling hope amidst despair.
