Plot

On the banks of the Danube, two fathers confront their grief: a Romanian man desperately seeking his daughter, who has been coerced into prostitution in Kosovo, and a Serbian man searching for the body of his son, who died in a car accident in Romania. Their paths cross as a boatman shares an ancient tale of Romanian peasants who faced hardships while trying to transport an old wooden church to their village, a time when constructing Orthodox churches was banned. This legend mirrors their struggles and the weight of loss they carry.
