Plot

Set against the backdrop of the vibrant Seventies, a journey unfolds in search of enlightenment, spirituality, and liberation. Young Hugh Milne, inspired by the teachings of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, embarks on a transformative trip to India. Meanwhile, Sheela Patel, a determined young woman, is drawn to the enigmatic guru by her father's influence. As she becomes his secretary, Sheela's devotion deepens. At the Poona Ashram, Bhagwan encourages his followers to explore meditation and tantric practices to elevate their consciousness. Hugh, serving as bodyguard, witnesses Bhagwan's rise to prominence and the creation of a utopian community in Oregon.
