Plot
Yoshigi and Tsutue, a struggling couple, find themselves on the fringes of Tokyo's Suzaki red-light district. Tsutue secures a position serving sake at a small bar owned by a kind-hearted older woman, while Yoshigi gets a job delivering noodles at a nearby shop. As Tsutue captivates one of her patrons and vanishes with him, Yoshigi, despite the affections of a kind co-worker, is determined to track her down. Their tumultuous journey reflects the challenges of love and survival in a gritty urban landscape.
