Plot

Jared Phelps (Kirby Heyborne) returns home after two years of dedicated missionary work for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, optimistic about his future. His mission president has assured him of blessings for his service, and he anticipates reuniting with his girlfriend, reclaiming his job, and starting at BYU. However, his plans quickly unravel as his girlfriend breaks up with him, he loses his job, and his application to BYU is rejected. Faced with mounting setbacks, Jared grapples with whether staying true to his values is worth the struggle.
