Plot
In the vibrant Cajun town of Bayou La Teche, Louisiana, the joyous wedding of Splendid and Dolan is overshadowed by rising tensions. On their wedding night, Splendid fiercely vows to preserve her purity. Meanwhile, her cousin faces her own turmoil, discovering her partner's affair with Thais, the local prostitute.
