Plot
An abused beagle escapes from his cruel owner and crosses paths with Marty Preston, a compassionate young boy who instantly connects with him. Naming the dog Shiloh, Marty faces a dilemma when his strict father refuses to let him keep the pet, claiming it belongs to the local hunter, Judd Travers. After suffering mistreatment again, Shiloh returns to Marty, who creates a secret shelter for him in an old shed. When danger strikes one night, Marty must confront his father's disapproval and seek assistance, risking everything to protect his beloved friend.
