Plot

Arthur Bishop, a seasoned assassin, prides himself on crafting his hits to appear accidental, viewing his lethal work as an art form. Wealthy yet emotionally isolated in middle age, he decides to mentor Steve McKenna, the son of one of his victims. Under Bishop's tough guidance, Steve undergoes intense training and participates in several assignments. As Steve's skills sharpen, Arthur's unease grows, fearing the apprentice might uncover the truth about his father's murder, complicating their mentor-mentee bond and threatening the careful façade of Bishop’s meticulously orchestrated life.
