Plot

Sam Longwood, a weary frontiersman, stumbles upon his former gold-mining partner, Jack Colby, who betrayed him and absconded with their fortune fifteen years prior. Joined by old comrades Joe Knox and Billy, Sam confronts Colby, demanding not just the stolen thousand dollars but an additional fifty-nine thousand for their troubles. When their efforts fail, they devise a scheme to kidnap Colby’s wife, Nancy Sue—Sam’s long-lost love. However, they soon discover that Nancy Sue has changed dramatically and is far from the innocent woman Sam remembers.
